Take empty containers to one of the sites listed here. They should be triple rinsed or pressure rinsed first (see instructions) to ensure it won't be rejected. Remove the cap, booklet, and metal handles.

Containers larger than 23 litres should be returned to the point of sale or to the manufacturer for disposal. Those used for home and garden care (with the words 'Domestic' on their label) should be disposed of through an appropriate municipal program.

This applies to Agricultural pesticide containers and Agricultural fertilizer containers.
